♥Think about something worth smiling about everyday.
♥Live in the present moment. Don't let the simple pleasures of life pass you by because you too distracted to appreciate them. Stop focusing all of your energy on your next move. Take some time to just breathe and be who you are at this very moment.
♥ Embrace the wide array of emotions you feel on a daily basis. I feel like a lot of people are often ashamed of their negative emotions, myself included. I think that this type of thinking is unfair. There is nothing wrong with having a bad day or being in a grumpy mood. The sooner that you embrace your crummy mood, the sooner that you will get over it and start feeling better.
♥ Allow spontaneity to invade your routine. I have never really been the kind of person who follows a routine. I find that I am happier when I only do what I feel like at the current moment. If you don't allow some spontaneous moments into your life, a mindless routine will start to get really old and wear on you. The most creative individuals are also the most spontaneous thinkers and carefree adventurers.
♥ Stop letting your fears dictate your life. Do something that scares you and do it today. Not tomorrow. Today.
♥ Keep moving. It's so simple. Move in a positive direction and towards people who inspire and support you. Move away from negative influences and people who bring you down.
♥ Practice self-love on a daily basis. Self-love is so important, but it's not really encouraged. Yes, it's wonderful to love your neighbor and to treat everyone with respect, but it is equally important to love and respect yourself.
♥ Let go of your regrets from the past. I know that this is easier said than done, but hanging onto regret will only hinder you in the long run. You can't focus on your goals and dreams for today if you are dwelling on your failures from yesterday. Letting go of regret makes room for self-acceptance and positivity.
♥ Accept people the way they are. No, they are not going to be perfect and yes, they are going to make mistakes. Accept them anyways. Love your friends for their quirks and accept their shortcomings.
♥ Always make time for the people who matter the most to you. If someone is important to you, make them an important part of your life. Celebrate their victories and support them during their difficulties. When you're in need of a friends, they will be there for you in return.
